Abson, Gladys Louise (née Fisher). Peacefully at Carleton Lodge, on Tuesday November 5, 2019, at the age of 97. Loving wife of the late Harold Abson. Dear mother of Irene (Howard Williamson), Ronald (Jan), Judy (Domenic Cuglietta), John (Lynn), Cindy (Paul Colotelo) and David (Donna). Proud grandmother of 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by her sisters Lena and Violet. Special thanks to the Carleton Lodge Goulbourn Village staff for their compassionate care. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd (between Bayshore and Baseline Rd), Nepean on Friday November 22nd from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday November 23rd at 11 am. Immediately followed by a reception. Interment at Capital Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, memorial donations to the Carleton Lodge or the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County would be appreciated.
