It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Theresa on October 15, 2019.
She was, and always will be, deeply loved and cherished by her husband of 30 years, Keith Walton, and daughters, Rebecca and Genevieve. She will be dearly missed by her mother, Pauline McNeil; sisters, Janet (Ken) Mutlow and Sharon (Todd) Tougas; brothers, Barry McNeil, Gordon (Lori Meisner) McNeil; 14 nieces and nephews; 4 great nieces and nephews as well as her extended family and friends.
She was predeceased by her father, Frank McNeil.
Theresa was an incredibly thoughtful individual who excelled in all that she did. Theresa was an achiever, earning a B. Comm with a double major in Accounting and Finance as well as CMA and CFA designations and reaching the position of Senior Portfolio Manager for Telus Pension Services at a time when there were few women in her field at that level. Above all, she was a devoted mother, wife, daughter and sister, always thinking of others and selflessly putting their interests ahead of her own.
A Funeral Mass to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 210 Haddow Close NW, Edmonton.
