Obituary for
Ronald “Ronnie” Paul Holubisky
It is with deep sorrow the family of Ron Holubisky announces his passing on October 15, 2019 in Edmonton. Ron will be greatly missed by his wife of 44 years, Elaine Pallister; his daughters, Jennifer and Michelle; and his granddog, Oliver. He also leaves numerous cousins and great friends. He was predeceased by his loving parents, Paul and Stella (nee Sulyma) Holubisky, granddog, Molly; and many beloved cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Ronnie will always be remembered by those that knew him for his huge heart and genuine love of life. His final week was surrounded by family and friends, laughter, reminiscing and great conversations. He went out like the life of the party that he was.
Ron’s family wishes to extend a special thank-you to the staff at Capital Care Norwood Hospice for their kindness and gentle care in his final days.
Friends and family may pay their respects Sunday, October 20 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Park Memorial Funeral Home, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton.
Ron’s Funeral Rite will be held Monday, October 21 at 9:30 a.m. at St. John’s Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, 10951 – 107 Street with interment to follow.
