McGuirk, John
Peacefully at home, in Port Hope on Friday October 4th, 2019 in his 71st year. Beloved husband of Joan Carol McGuirk. Father of Matthew, and Michael Jiggins. Brother of Kathy Pittman (Ray), and Barbara Gray (Jim). John was a dedicated and devoted Music teacher at Hillfield Strathallen College, Hamilton, where he was adored by the many students he inspired and touched throughout his career. Many will remember his tireless work with the Port Hope all Canadian Jazz Festival which he just loved.
Interment at Foots Bay Cemetery, Muskoka at a later date.
Memorial donations to The Georgian Bay Land Trust or to The Friends of Wesleyville Village.
