Israel (Issie) Brown
Courageously, with grace and dignity, on Thursday, October 24, 2019. Devoted husband of Roslyn Levitsky Brown for over sixty years. Treasured and adored father of Stephanie. Faithful brother and brother-in-law of Murray and Carol Brown (the late Marlene), Millie and the late Charlie Brown, the late Sam and the late Florence Brown. Dearest brother-in-law of Sydney and Anne Levitsky, Lenny and Lynda Levitsky. Cherished uncle to his many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and their families. He will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the honour and privilege of having him in their lives. Special thanks to all the doctors, nurses and staff of the Cedars Cancer Centre at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) for their unwavering and exceptional care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Friday, October 25 at 12:00 p.m. Burial at the Montreal Torah Centre Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at 7400 Côte St-Luc Rd. #801-Tower 1, Friday following burial until 4:00 p.m., and Sunday through Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Evening services at 7:30 p.m. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Cedars Cancer Institute-RVH, (514) 843-1606.
