Peacefully, on Monday, October 21, 2019 at the age of ninety-three. Beloved wife of the late Nathan. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Alan Rothstein and Shirley Perks, Jewel Rothstein and David Goldman. Treasured grandmother of Elizabeth and Graham, Justin, Mia and Patrick, Leigh, Moriah and Aaron, Shandoah and Matthew, Rachael and Marc, Jessica and Rob. Proud great-grandmother of Alice, Senna, Ira, and Ezra. Sister and sister-in-law of Eva and the late Larry Peters; and predeceased by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Norman and Lillian Rothstein, Isadore and Sylvia Rothstein, Mayte and Dr. Bobby Rothstein, Herman and Frances Davis. Eileen will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to her caregivers, Marlenie, Vania, Evelyn, and Veronica for their devotion; and the staff of the 4th Floor, Tower 2 at the Waldorf Residence for their exceptional care and kindness. Graveside service on Wednesday, October 23 at 3:00 p.m., at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 96 Dufferin Rd., Hampstead, Wednesday following burial until 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Evening services at 7:30 p.m. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Hope and Cope c/o the Jewish General Hospital Foundation, (514) 340-8251.
