Barbara J. Malseed
April 5, 1931 – October 20, 2019
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Barbara Malseed of Cayuga, Ontario. Barb was born to Wallace and Lourine Snell (nee McFee) in Belleville Ontario where she grew up with bothers Cameron and Warren. Barb became a nurse at Belleville General Hospital eventually moving to Cayuga Ontario as a public health nurse for the Haldimand Norfolk health unit. Barb met Murray Malseed in Cayuga and they married in 1964 and made Cayuga their home. They loved to travel and spent many vacations traveling across Canada and the US or at their “mobile” in Bradenton, Florida. Murray’s love of ice cream led them to open an ice cream stand called the Kream Kloset in Dunnville where Barb spent many happy summers. Barb lived in Dunnville for the past five years and we thank the staff, volunteers and residents of Grandview Lodge for their care and kindness to Barb and her family. Barb is missed and remembered by her loving son Keven and wife Bea, grandson Jason, brother Warren, nieces, nephews, and many extended family and dear friends. Barb will rest next to Murray at the Cayuga Riverside Cemetery. A celebration of her life will be held at the Cayuga Legion on Sunday December 8 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
