It is with great sadness that we announce the passing on October 26th of Abraham (Aime) Fox, beloved husband of Chloe, and brother of Honey Fox- Moscowitz. He will be deeply missed by his children- Dahlia Fox Moss, Daniel Fox, Sivan Fox (Shap) and Joshua Fox, and his grandchildren Nathan and Ariella Moss, Lucas and Isaiah Fox, Isaac, Zara, and Orianne Fox, and Allyson, Noah and Ethan Shap. Abraham was predeceased by his parents, Goldie and Harry Fox, his son Stefan, and his brother Joe. Abraham was born in Montreal, raised his family there and worked as a much-loved professor of mathematics at Marianopolis College. In retirement, Abraham and Chloe fulfilled their dream to live in the country, enjoying nature, their many pets, gardening, long walks and music. Cremation has taken place, and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date in the spring. Donations in Abraham’s memory may be made to the Jewish National Fund. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 14 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772). As a Memorial to Abraham a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
