Obituary
Bill Maki passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at the age of 54 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Liberty Maki, of Calgary, AB; sister Barb Maki (Peter), of Toronto, ON; father Robert Maki, of St. Catharines, ON; step-father Reinie Vos, of St. Catharines, ON; auntie Baba, Brenda (Scott) Trenholm, of Ontario; good friends Mike & Della Schnell; and many more family and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Carolyn Vos.
Bill was born and raised in St. Catharines, ON. He moved to Calgary to attend the University of Calgary where he was a gymnast and earned a Master of Science in Kinesiology degree. Most of his working years were spent training athletes. Bill also enjoyed anything outdoors, such as rock climbing, skiing and surfing. He also loved to tinker with electronics and wood working.
A Funeral Service will be held for Bill at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – 17 Avenue Chapel (2021 – 17 Avenue SW, Calgary) on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 10:00 am.
