It is with broken hearts that the family announces the passing of Widlynn Jane Wright which occurred on September 18th, 2019. Widlynn was born November 13, 1996 in Port Au Prince, Haiti and was welcomed into her second loving family in 2001 when she came to Canada and into our hearts.
Widlynn is the precious daughter of John Wright and Sarah Mallory-Wright of Quispamsis and Joshua (d.2004) and Almita Appollon of Port Au Prince, Haiti. Widlynn attended KVHS and graduated from St. Malachy’s High School in 2015 and completed her Medical Aesthetics Certification with the Majestany Institute Saint John in 2017.
Along with her parents, Widlynn is survived by her precious daughters and the loves of her life, Jasmine Jane and Lataya Sophia, her brothers Jacob Wright, Peter Wright, Danial Vansant, John Carr, Keny Arold; and sisters Madison Wright and Rachel Appollon.
Widlynn will be remembered for her strength, compassion and kindness as a loving and dedicated mother, a cherished daughter, a warm-hearted friend, and a sweet, dear sister.
Widlynn battled with her mental health for as long as she could remember and never stopped trying to come out on top. She advocated for and supported those with difficulties worse than her own. She had enormous compassion and offered her never ending help to all who were having a tough time as she saw it.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). A Celebration of Widlynn’s Life will take place at the residence of John and Sarah Wright , 60 Jenkins Drive , Quispamsis on Sunday, September 22, 2019 from 1-4 pm. All are welcome to share their love, memories and experiences of Widlynn. Internment will take place at a later date. Donations in memory of Widlynn may be made to the KV Oasis Youth Center or to the Canadian Mental Health Association of New Brunswick.
