Steven Arnold Tattrie

Tattrie, Steven Arnold – It is with great sadness that we, the family announce the sudden passing of Steven Arnold Tattrie of Upper River John Road, Tatamagouche at the age of 59. Steven passed peacefully with his son, daughter, family and friends by his side. He is survived by his daughter, Kelli (Marc) Saulnier and her children, Juliette and Sylvie; son, Justin; brothers, Brian, Keith (Wilma) and Terry (Wanda); sisters, Sylvia (Richard), Karen (Allan) and Linda; many nieces, nephews and special friends – you know who you are. Steven worked for many years as a carpenter until a work place accident forced him to retire. He enjoyed watching Justin’s hockey games and taking Kelli to her table tennis tournaments through their school years. He took great pride in being the caretaker of the Mingo Farm and cooking for his neighbours. He loved to talk on the phone and visit his regular friends every morning and designed and built unique furniture for his granddaughters. A huge thank you to the nurses, doctors and medics for the care they gave our father from the beginning until our final goodbyes and for the kindness and professionalism you showed to our family. A time to gather and celebrate Steven’s life will be held from noon until 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 7 in Coulter’s Funeral Home, Tatamagouche. No funeral service to be held. Memorial donations to Tatamagouche and Area Minor Hockey Association or a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
