Born December 28, 1962, in Grande Prairie to Karen and Jacob Peters. She married the love of her life, William Cuncannon, on March 16, 1996, in Westbank, British Columbia.

Serena was well loved by her family and every community she touched with her service and compassion. She is survived by her husband, William Cuncannon; sons, Arthur and Colin Cuncannon; daughter, Helena Cuncannon; mother, Karen Snider; father-in-law, Lee Snider; brother, Dana Peters; sister-in-law, Lorraine Peters; sister, Dawn Peters; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family, friends, and those whose lives Serena touched are invited to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church on 2547 Hebert Rd, West Kelowna, for prayers at 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 26, 2019 and Funeral Service at 11:00 am, Friday, September 27, 2019 to reminisce, grieve, and support one another.
