Obituary of Ruth Scheels
(nee Proulx)
It is with sadness we announce that Ruth passed away surrounded by love and peaceful blessings at Stoneridge Manor, Carleton Place Friday evening, September 6, 2019. Ruth Muriel Scheels of Arnprior at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late John “Jack” Scheels (1981). Forever in the heart and prayers of her son Gordon and his wife Claire of Arnprior. Cherished Gramma of Shelley Ann and her husband Richard Paquette, Jason and his wife Tara, and Jarvis and his wife Joy. She will be lovingly remembered by her great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Donald and Norman Proulx, both of Ottawa. Ruth was predeceased by her parents Michael and Mary Proulx. She will be remembered by many for her kind, friendly nature. Ruth’s arrangements are entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. Graveside service (to be announced) at Arnprior Albert Street Cemetery. In memory of Ruth, one could consider a donation to the Dementia Society.
