WARDLE, ROGER KEVIN –
Peacefully entered into rest at his home on Thursday, September 5th, 2019 with his family and friends at his side. Roger Wardle of R. R. 1, Foxboro died at the age of 69. He was the son of the late Roy & Doris Wardle (nee Horton) and was the cherished husband for 47 years of Joyce (nee Cooper). Roger was the loving father of Lynn Wardle (Mike Dickinson) of Guelph and Kelly MacDonald (Bryan) of Belleville. He was the adoring grandfather of Cole & Hunter Dickinson and Evan MacDonald. Roger is survived by his sister Christine Clare (Steve) of Edmonton, his brothers Mark of Edmonton, Gary of Peterborough and Allan (Valerie) of Ilderton. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and by Sheila Frost, John & Rosalie Buckley and their families.
A Service in Celebration of Roger’s Life will be held in the Chapel of the John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Avenue, Belleville (613-968-5588) on Friday, September 13th, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation from 11:30 a.m. until service time. Private family inurnment at Belleville Cemetery. If desired, donations to SickKids Foundation or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
