The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital,
Summerside on Friday September 6, 2019 of Pauline Frances Burleigh,
aged 91, beloved wife for 70 years of James Burleigh. Born in Bideford
on January 26, 1928, daughter of the late George and Hazel(Hogg)
Jelley.
Dear mother to Paul (Barbara) East Bideford; Ann, Halifax;
Heather (Dave) Rideout, Punta Gorda, Florida; Georgia (Dave) Ellis,
Summerside and loving grandmother to Andrew, Sarah, Erin, Rebecca,
Spencer, Laura, Matthew, Colleen, Gregory, Heather and five great
grandchildren.
Pauline is survived by her brother in-law William Parker and
several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents, sister Olive Parker, brother
Charles Bryant and his wife Jo; sisters in-law Georgia(Art)Weymouth
and Vivian(Jerry) Sheen and niece Gerri-Lynn Sheen.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel , Tyne Valley
with visiting hours Wednesday September 11th, 2019 from 4 – 7 pm.
Private family funeral. Interment at the Bideford United
Church Cemetery immediately following visiting hours.
Family flowers only, in memory of Pauline, memorials to the
Prince County Hospital Foundation (Ambulatory Care) or Canadian Cancer
Society (PEI) would be appreciated.
