Obituary of Matthew McLean
It is with great saddness that we anounce the passing of our beloved Daddy, Husband, son, brother and great friend Matthew on Monday, September 23, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Matty passed away after a courageous 2 1/2 year battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving children Louise, Annabelle, Gray and his beloved wife Lindsay. Dear son of Bill and Alison. Cherished brother of Foster (Sandra), Jesse (Sarah), and Ashton (Julie) and Davina (Eric). Matty will be fondly remembered by all his nieces, nephews, extended family, enormous group of friends and by the lacrosse and hockey communities.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27 from 1:00-3:00pm at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport)905-440-3595. A Funeral Service will follow in the DeStefano Chapel at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Matthew’s children’s trust fund (e-transfer to foster.mclean@convoy-supply.com).
