Marion’s Obituary
Hunt, Marion B. – Our mother, Marion B. Hunt, of Tatamagouche, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour, September 15, 2019. Born in Wentworth, June 22, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Neil F. and Mary (Clancy) Barclay. She faithfully attended the Gospel Hall in Oxford and Tatamagouche since 1958. For many years she was a nurse at Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche. Words are inadequate to express the love and respect that is held in the hearts of her children, Bobby (Francie); Mary Ann (Calvin) MacDonald; David (Ethel); Brian (Heather); Gordon (Sheila); Janet (Ian) MacLennan; Charlotte; she will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her 24 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Dr. Ross Barclay and Ernest Wood. She was predeceased by her husband, Bob; brother, Roy; sister, Annie Mae; grandchildren, Danny Hunt, Jonathan Quigley, Terry Hunt and Baby Hunt; Great grandchild, Baby Hunt. Our Heartfelt thanks to all the VON who cared for our mother, the EHS staff, her special care giver, Angie Eagles, doctors and nurses at Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital and special thanks to Dr. MacKinnon and Martha Underwood for their tender love and care: Your kindness will always be remembered. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Coulter’s Funeral Home (902-657-3288), Tatamagouche. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 18 in Tatamagouche Gospel Hall, 136 Blair Ave., Tatamagouche. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 19, in Wentworth Recreation Centre, 13752 Hwy. 4, Wentworth. Memorial donations to the Isaac Foundation in support of MPS (Mucopolysaccharide Society) families at www.theisaacfoundation.com or the Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
