At Bluewater Rest Home in Zurich, on Saturday, September 14, 2019, Lester Leonhardt of Seaforth passed away in his 97th year.
Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth ‘Betty’ (Matthews) (2003). Loved father of Susan (1987) and Brian & Karen of St. Joseph. Cherished grandfather and great-grandfather. Dear brother to Mervin of Mitchell, Alvin of Stratford and Laurine of Kitchener.
Lester was very proud to receive a Certificate of Recognition for his service during the Second World War, from Canada’s Prime Minister.
The Leonhardt Family would like to express thanks to the Bluewater Rest Home health care angels for their kindness and excellent care.
Arrangements are entrusted to McGlynn Family Funeral Home (519-527-1390), 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. Private family interment will take place in St. James Catholic Cemetery.
