Jessica Aimee (Joe) Smith

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Jessica Amiee
Smith announces her passing on Wednesday, September
4th, 2019 at the age of 44 years. Jessica will

Jessica lived life large in every way. She had a huge smile,
infectious and distinct laugh, and could be heard cheering the loudest
at every one of Coopers hockey games. She had the same passion for her
work with the United Way of Pictou County over the last 10 years.
Jessica’s drive to create a better community also led her to
volunteer with many groups, such as, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Pictou
County Volunteer Coalition, and Pictou County Community Partners for
Children and Youth, to name a few.
A celebration of Jessica’s life will be held at

create a memory wall and welcome any pictures or written stories of
Jessica you would like to add. In remembrance of her love of all
things pink, you are also invited to wear a little something of her
favorite color.
Special thanks to the Palliative Care team at the Aberdeen
