Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, September 28, 2019 – 8am at the Collingwood General & Marine hospital, Collingwood in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Dave for over 55 years. Caring mother of David (Fran), Derek (Betty) and Kim (Alan) Campbell. Cherished grandmother of Aimee, Kate, Karlee, Chelsea, Allie, Brady, the late Sean, Bradley, Samantha and great-grandmother to Easton and Lyla. The Cross family would like to send out a big thanks to all the staff at the Collingwood Hospital particularly the doctors and nurses of the ER and ICU for their loving care and compassion provided for Jean and her family during this difficult time. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements entrusted in Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home –Wasaga Beach, ON. In lieu of flowers the family would ask to place a donation in Jean’s memory to the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation.
