BUTLER, James Pardy – Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, James Pardy Butler of Arnold’s Cove, aged 84 years. Predeceased by his parents Herbert and Lydia Butler of Monkstown; parents-in-law Thomas and Rachel Monk of Arnold’s Cove; his brothers William, Howard and Herb; sisters-in-law Bella, Bertha and Tosh; brothers-in-law Ted and Frank. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife of 59 years Annie (nee Monk); his children Curtis (Cindy), Juanita (Ronnie), Morley, Cliff (Glenda), Yvonne (Larry) and Jackie (Geoff); grandchildren Ryan (Nicole), Jordan (Samantha), Amanda (Jordon), Brittany (Trent), Emily, Justin, Adam, Megan and Melissa; great grandchildren Gracie-Rae, Aliyah, Jagger, Jake, Jett, Charlie, Jordyn, Teddy, Aurora and Scottie; brothers Cyril (Bride) and Ivor; sisters Rebecca and Amelia (Jack); brothers-in-law Ro (Ernestine) and Mac; sisters-in-law Amelia (Ray), Beatrice and Minnie. Also leaving to mourn are a large number of nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Hilltop Manor, G B Cross Memorial Hospital and Fewer’s Funeral Home. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home in Arnold’s Cove with visitation on Wednesday, September 11 from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, September 12 from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. A celebration of Jim’s life will take place on Friday, September 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army in Arnold’s Cove with interment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery, Arnold’s Cove. In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully accepted to the Salvation Army Corp of Arnold’s Cove.
