Emile Martin, age 77, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family and friends on Thursday, September 26th, 2019, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital.
Born in Baie Ste-Anne, he was the son of the late Emery Martin and Francoise Rousselle. He is survived by his wife Therese Martin, two daughters: Marie Chantal Martin (Gerard) of Saint John, NB, and Nancy Martin Jenkins (Andrew) of Calgary, AB; two step-children: Gerard Robichaud (Pam) of Baie Ste-Anne and Albertine Robichaud (Quentin) of Miramichi, NB; Seven grandchildren: Marie-Josee, Nicolas, Jonathan, Isabelle, Raquel, Aden, Laylou, and several nieces and nephews. Emile is also survived by two sisters: Althea Daigle (Gerard), of Halifax, NS, Cecile McIntyre (Jerry) of St-Louis de Kent, NB, and one brother: Henry Martin of Miramichi, NB. Besides his parents, Emile was predeceased by his brother Vincent Martin, and four sisters: Vitaline Quann, Amanda Manuel, Germaine Martin and Olesine Martin. Visitation will take place at the Baie Ste-Anne Slumberoom, Thursday October 3rd from 2-4pm. Mass will follow on October 3rd at 4pm from Sainte-Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, Baie Ste-Anne NB, with burial to follow in Ste-Anne’s cemetery.
