Obituary of Daniel Henry Parent

October 31, 1948 – September 13, 2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel Henry Parent on Friday, September 13, 2019. Dan, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend passed away peacefully at his home in Beamsville, Ontario surrounded by family.
Dan will be truly missed by his loving wife and best friend, Anne, of 46 years. He leaves behind his sons Neil (Jenny) and Brad (Crystal) and grandsons Finn, Stone and Zane. Dan will also be missed by his brother Ted (Nannette), sister Marie-Jean (Hal), sister Pauline (Ian) and will be reunited with his beloved sister Jerri-Ann (Brian) who passed in 2012. Dan will be missed by his many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. He will be missed many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews along with many close friends.
Dan leaves behind lasting memories of his easy-going, friendly and kind personality. As a man many looked up to and respected, his memory will live on in our hearts.
Cheers to a truly great man from all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Special thanks to West Niagara Palliative Care Team, especially nurse Paul who provided great comfort. Donations can be made in Dan’s name to West Niagara Palliative Care Team or the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation.
Service and celebration of life details will be shared in the next few weeks and all will be welcome.
