Casey Jones

Obituary for Mr. Casey Jones
Casey Jones of High River passed away peacefully at the Foothills Country Hospice on September 18, 2019. Casey is survived by his daughter Kassie (Patrick) Davis, son Jerry (Kara) Jones; grandchildren William Davis and Olivia, Caleb, and Cicely Jones. He is also survived by his bother Ray (Joyce) Jones and their family.
Casey was born and raised in Arrowwood, AB and continued to live there and raise his own family. At a young age Casey went to work for a local farm family and then worked at the Arrowwood Co-op. In 1979 he went to work for Cominco (Agrium) and continued there until his retirement. Casey had moved from Arrowwood in 1989 but he returned after he retired. He took a part-time job with the sons of the farm family he worked for as a young man.
In his life, he pursued many different interests and hobbies, but always had a love for farming, rodeos and vehicles. He attended all the local threshing events and loved to watch rodeos. He would spend hours at car rallies. He could often be found working on his own vehicles and took great pride in them.
Casey loved to visit with friends and family. In the last few years he had a group of friends, “The Breakfast Club” that he met with often.
As per Casey’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation to the Foothills Country Hospice be considered, www.countryhospice.org.
