HICKS, Ben Earl – Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family on September 11, 2019 at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Ben Hicks of Clarenville, aged 72 years. Ben is predeceased by his parents Bramwell and Mae Hicks; parents-in-law Eric and Ann Adams and brother-in-law George. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories his wife of 49 years Shirley; sons Stephen (Lana), Gregory (Danette) and Adam (Stacey); grandchildren Benjamin and Emily; Grace, Aaron and Madeline; and Sophie and Audrey; brother Fred (Brenda); sister-in-law Annette (Tony); nieces and nephews Jennifer, Kathryn and Mark; Justin and Jared; and a large circle of family and friends. Cremation has taken place with a committal service to be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Ben’s memory may be made to The Children’s Wish Foundation.
