Obituary of Albert Archibald Drover
Passed peacefully away Albert Archibald Drover, on Sept. 17, 2019 at the Central NL Regional Hospital, Grand Falls-Windsor, at the age of 90 years. Albert retired from the Canadian National Railway in 1984. He was predeceased by his first wife Maxine; parents: John and Priscilla Drover; brothers: Harve, Fred, Gerald; sister, Edna; sister-in-law, Gwen; step-daughter Louise and one step-grandchild.
He leaves to mourn his wife, Georgina; daughters: Donna (Wilf) Temple, Marilyn (Warefield) Mitchell; sons: Albert Jr. (Carol), Carl (Cheryl); five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sisters-in-laws Leah and Rosie. He also leaves his step-daughters: Jessie (Albert) Parsons, Maxine (Randy) Strickland; step-sons: Gordon and Don Bownes; four step-grandchildren; 15 step-great-grandchildren; three step-great-great-grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Pastor Geoffrey Ryan will conduct the funeral service from the Windsor Pentecostal Church on Friday @ 2 p.m. with interment at the Interfaith Cemetery on Union Street.
Pallbearers will be sons: Albert Jr, Carl; grandson, Nathan; son-in-law, Warefield; step-son, Gordan and step-son-in-law Randy.
