Obituary of Elaine Pape
Elaine was welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Saviour as she passed away peacefully, at Parkwood Mennonite Home on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at the age of 93.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Rev. Dennis Pape, Elaine is survived by her daughter Margie (Doug) Gowing of Kitchener and her son Don (Ruth) Pape of Colorado Springs, her grandchildren Jeremy (Meg), Matthew and Tim Pape and Michelle (Kyle Scheifele) as well as her great-granddaughter Zoey Marie Pape. She is also survived by her brother Dr. Don (Pam) Harrison.
Elaine served the Lord, together with her husband Dennis, as Missionaries in Brazil for many years. They were later members and served at King Street Baptist Church in Cambridge.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Elaine with her family during memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Sunday, September 22, 2019 from 1:00 – 1:45 pm. The memorial service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 2:00 pm. A reception will follow in the Fireside Reception Room. Cremation will have taken place and interment will be at Hagey Cemetery, Cambridge.
