Passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 86 on Friday, July 26, 2019 at the Georgian Bay General Hospital. Dear beloved husband of Patricia and father of Alison (Jeff), Andrew (Sandy) and Charlie (Cate). Grandfather of seven and great-grandfather of six. Bill was born in Dunoon, Argyll, Scotland. Bill and Pat and their three children emigrated from England to Canada in 1965. He was employed for many years at Ernst Leitz Canada in Midland, Ontario. Cremation has taken place and at Bill’s request there will be no funeral service or celebration of life. In keeping with Bill’s love of dogs, should you so desire, donation can be made to the Ontario SPCA Midland and District Animal Centre.
