William’s Obituary
Benham, William Hercules- 71, East Green Harbour, passed away in Yarmouth Regional Hospital on August 23, 2019 with his family by his side. Born in East Green Harbour he was a son of the late Edwin and Gladys (Stevens) Benham. Willie was a machinist by trade and worked at Atkinson & Bowers for many years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grand-father. Willie enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved trout fishing. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Janice (Williams) Benham; sons, William (Patricia); Stephen ( Tammy); daughter, Amanda (Chris); sister, Cathy Wilson; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes & Crematorium Ltd. A private graveside interment will take place at a later date. The family would like to thank the Dialysis Unit at Yarmouth Regional Hospital and Dr. Tag Boto.
