Shirley Taillefer
At the Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Monday, August 12, 2019. Shirley Bertha Taillefer (née Rolland) of Alexandria; age 82 years. Loving wife of Robert Taillefer. Beloved mother of Kim Taillefer-Thompson (Nelson) and Julie Taillefer (Bert). Cherished grandmother of Ashley and Steven and great grandmother of Ava Lee and Jada Picher. Dear sister of Robert Rolland “Bear”, Loretta Varnier and Marion Cuillerier. Predeceased by her parents Donat and Bertha Rolland (née Sauvé) and by her siblings Eugene, Roger and Albert. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Église Sacré-Coeur on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 11 am. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Shirley a tree will be planted in Memory Woods. A tree grows-memories live.
