ROEUP MOEUN
Roeup Moeun transitioned into eternity on August 08, 2019 at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He was 58 years old.
Mr. Moeun was originally from the country of Cambodia but immigrated to Canada amidst the Cambodian Civil war. He landed in Canada with his wife and son in 1985. Here in this country he was able to provide a great life, not only for himself but also for his expanding family. In 1987 he had a daughter and in 1988 he had his youngest son.
Mr. Moeun was a very strong, fearless and passionate man. He had the ability to lead, teach and provide help and assistance to many. He cared deeply for his family, as well for all the brothers and sisters in the church and Cambodian Community. He has touched many hearts and souls and has left an everlasting imprint with many who know him.
Mr. Moeun enjoyed fishing trips with his wife, playing guitar, fixing things and the Winnipeg Jets. What brought him the most joy was spending time with his grandson.
Mr. Moeun is survived by his wife Ry Pan; his children Rith (Kristel), Rotha (Sopheak), Sothea (Anna); and his grandson, Theo Jacob Phat.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday August 16, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at New Apostolic Church, 1755 Taylor Avenue.
