Robert’s Obituary
Bob, beloved husband of Marlene Lee (nee Lougheed-Bieganek) of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully at Agape Hospice after a short battle with cancer on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at the age of 74 years.
Bob was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on July 30, 1945. He moved to Calgary where he made his home for the last forty years.
He worked in various sales roles, notably at The Bay, Sears, and his last position at Rona, from which he retired. During his retirement he spent his time with Marlene, his wife of 28 years, doing the things he loved. He spent his time camping, swimming, biking, golfing, renovating their home, spending time with friends, and re-living his childhood with his eight grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Capitol Hill Community Centre (1531 21 Ave NW, Calgary, AB) on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. All who knew and loved Bob are encouraged to come and remember his fun and outgoing soul.
