Richard “Dicky”‘s Obituary
SHERMAN, Richard Calvin “Dicky” – age 68, North Belleville, Yarmouth Co., passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, August 10, 2019 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born October 4, 1950 in Yarmouth, he was a son of the late Charles and Isabelle (Davis) Sherman. Dicky enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time outdoors. He is survived by brothers and sisters, Clyde Sherman, Charlie Sherman, Hazel Mullen, Patsy Sherman, Ronnie Sherman, Paul Sherman, Billy Sherman and Shirley Sherman. Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Joan Platt, Helen Pothier and Betty Ringer. In accordance with Dicky’s wishes, cremation has taken place and interment will take place in Yarmouth Mountain Cemetery at a later time. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
