Obituary of Patricia Marie Saunders
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Patricia Marie Saunders, beloved wife of the late Owen “Skip” Saunders, announce her passing on March 14, 2019 at the Moncton Hospital. Born on October 14, 1944 in Chester, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Martin) Willauer.
Pat was active in the Welsford community while raising her two boys. She loved to play bingo, dance and listen to music, especially Elvis and Jerry Lee Lewis! Most of all she loved spending time with her cherished grandchildren, She will be missed by all who knew her.
Pat will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Ron Saunders (Vickie) and Jerry Saunders (Tracy) both from Moncton; sister, Margaret (the late Ken); grandchildren, Brady, Grace, Emily and Lily; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Frances and brothers, Charles, Frank and Anthony.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425) with visitation on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 1-3PM and 6-8 PM. A Funeral Liturgy will take place on Friday, August 23, 2019 at 1 PM from Brenan’s Bay View Chapel. Interment will take place in Welsford Valley Community Cemetery.
