The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of Community
Hospital, O’Leary on Sunday August 25th, 2019 of Olive
Ashley, O’Leary, aged 65, beloved wife of Gordon. Born in
Summerside on September 10, 1953, daughter of the late Gerald and
Eileen (Bernard) Rooney.
Dear mother to Lori (Sheldon) Cudmore, Charlottetown; Luella
Rooney, Summerside; Donna-Lea (Michael) Best, Waterford, N.B. and
loving grandmother to Josee-Lea and Jack.
Olive is also survived by her brothers and sisters Christine,
Geraldine (Francis) Roberts, Junior Rooney, Richard “Dick”
Rooney and by brothers and sisters in law Robert (Pat) Ashley and
Erskine (Sue) Ashley.
Predeceased by her
parents.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel,
O’Leary with PRIVATE family arrangements.
