COULOMBE, Nicole Thérèse “Queen Nicky” – Peacefully at the Ottawa Heart Institute on Tuesday, August 27th, 2019 in her 66th year. Nicole Coulombe (nee Robert) of Pembroke, beloved wife and best friend of Paul Coulombe. Loving mother (mama bear) of Jennifer (Ryan) Nelson, Shannon Seabrook (Justin Barratt) and Tammy Seabrook – who will always be her monkeys, and this will always be her circus. Caring grandmother of Alyssa Alteen, Treye (Judy) Seabrook-Fields, Seth Nelson and Alma Mitlin. Great grandmother of Athena Seabrook-Fields. Dear sister of Claudette (Francis) Coulas, the late Yvon Robert, the late Ronald Robert, Gerald (Anne) Robert, Maurice Robert and Denis (Buffy Lee) Robert. Dear sister-in-law of Louis Phillippe (Pauline) Coulombe and the late Adèle Coulombe. Best friend and ‘person’ to Rita Van Waard for 58 years. She loved all of her friends and family with all of her heart, too many to mention, but know you were so very loved. She had a way of making you feel special the moment you met her. Her unwavering positivity throughout all of life’s obstacles was her trademark. She had a love for her family and friends, travel, making people laugh, and dancing. As she would say “be kind to one another, just because you can”. Respecting Nicole’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at Germania Club, 15 Bennett Street, Pembroke on Sunday, September 1st, 2019 from 1-5 p.m. Private Family Interment of Ashes in St. Columba’s Cemetery, Pembroke.
