The family of Margaret Schmidt sadly announces her passing at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Estevan, Sask. on Monday, August 19, 2019 at the age of 75 years.
A lifetime of memories will be forever cherished by Margaret’s family: son Jeffrey Schmidt, grandson Jesse (Erika) and their son Thomas and granddaughter Josie; daughter Tina (Chris) Blondeel, grandchildren, Destiny (Tyson and their daughter Harlow), Pierson and Emberlynn; daughter Jennifer (Duncan) Scheuer, grandchildren, Summer and Zander; her siblings: Joseph (Myrla) Zieglgansberger, Ann Skorlatowski, Theresa Reda, Marie (Al) Manship and Patricia (Allan) Murphy, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence Schmidt; parents, Ludwig and Barbara Zieglgansberger; sister Fran Mosley; brothers, Robert and Johnny Zieglgansberger; brothers-in-law, Steve Skorlatowski and Mathew Schmidt and sister-in-law Anne (Peter) Mitchell.
The Prayer Service will be held on Monday, August 26, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan with Marian Huber officiating. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Estevan, by Rev. Sathiadas Antony. A luncheon will follow in the parish auditorium, after which the Rite of Committal will be held at the Bienfait Cemetery.
If friends so desire, donations in Margaret’s memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 1738 Quebec Avenue, Unit 26, Saskatoon, Sask., S7K 1V9.
