Lila Marie Lipscombe (Hewlett)
Peacefully at the Gary J. Armstrong on Friday, August 23, 2019. Dearly beloved wife of the late Harry Alexander Lipscombe. Predeceased by her parents and only brother Bud. Survived by loving and devoted daughter Penny and son Hal (Debra); 4 grandchildren, Shannon, Sandy, Paul, Steven and 7 great grandchildren all of Brithish Columbia. Also surviving, her chosen adopted family Margaret and Bill Griffiths and their sons Bill Jr., Michael and granddaughter Alliyah. Lila will be dearly missed by her cousins, nieces, nephews, many friends especially the friends from the High Horizons. Lila devoted her life to the Insurance Industry as an Insurance Adjustor. (Commercial Union and).
Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway), Ottawa, on Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 10 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated . Special thanks to the staff on the 6th floor at the Gary J. Armstrong especially Anide. As well to her companion Charlene Elliott for her loving care.
