Obituary of Larry Scappaticci
SCAPPATICCI, Loreto (Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council # 2319, Thorold and retiree from the Ontario Paper Mill after 40 years of service) – It is with great sadness we wish to announce the passing of Larry Scappaticci at the age of 82 peacefully, with family by his side at the NHS St Catharines Hospital on July 31, 2019. Loving husband to Donna, devoted father to Anthony, Mark (Debbie) and Mary-Louise, the best and most loving Papa to his grandchildren Kirsten, Kendra, Isaac, Harrison, Akayla, Connor, Sephira, and great grandson Cruze. We were truly blessed by his devotion, determination, and courage. Larry was a family man, a gentle man with a twinkle in his eye, loyal and true to all he knew. He will truly be missed by all. Family and friends will be received at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Monday, August 5, 2019 with Vigil Prayers recited at 3:00 p.m. A Knights of Columbus Service will be held at 6:45 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at OUR LADY OF THE HOLY ROSARY, 21 Queen Street South, Thorold, on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. If desired, memorial donations in memory of Larry may be made to the Heart and stroke foundation or you can honour Larry by planting a tree in his name by following the link below.
