Obituary of Kenneth Groves Pearce
PEARCE, Kenneth Groves
(Retired, Chief Stationary Engineer)
Peacefully at St. Peters Hospital on Saturday, August 31, 2019, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Patricia (2013). Loving father of Mark and Jim. Cherished grandfather of Katelyn (Joe), Jennifer (Brian) and Jessica (Ryan). Predeceased by his parents George and Elizabeth and his siblings; Georgina, Elizabeth, Iona, Syd, Bob, Jerry and John. Will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Ken had many interests; he was Akela of the 46th Cub Scout Pack in Hamilton, he was an avid sailor, birder, motorcyclist and pianist. Ken also had his private pilot license and enjoyed many hours of flying. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, September 5th at 10:30 a.m. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
