Obituary for
Joseph Michael Hurley
It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Joseph Michael Hurley announces his sudden passing. Joseph passed away from the Central Newfoundland Regional Heath Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Friday, August 16th, 2019 at the age of 68 years.
Joseph is predeceased by his baby daughter – Mary Ellen Hurley; parents – Anthony and Mary Ellen Hurley; brother – John; sisters – Mary “Deuce” and Francine; siblings-in-law – Donna, Margaret and Finton.
Left with many fond and loving memories is his wife of 43 years – Rosemary Hurley, Baie Verte, NL; sons – Robert Hurley (Nancy), Baie Verte, NL, Jim Hurley (Chasity), Baie Verte, NL and Jeffery Hurley (Susan), Labrador City, NL; grandchildren – Robert, Daniel, Bobby, Michael and Tanya Lee; siblings – Richard (Jackie), Bill (Francis), Ella (Carmen) and Kathleen (Dennis); siblings-in-law – Millie, Edward, Linda (Bart), Anita (Ed), Gerard (Sheila), George (Vanessa) and Jack (Carolyn) as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Public Visitation will take place from Foster Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL on Sunday, August 18th, 2019 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 6:00PM to 9:00PM.
A Rosary Service will take place from Foster Funeral Home on Sunday, August 18th, 2019 at 6:30PM.
A Wake Service will take place from Foster Funeral Home on Sunday, August 18th, 2019 at 7:00PM.
Father Camillus Ekedobe will conduct the Mass of Christian Burial from St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, Baie Verte, NL on Monday, August 19th, 2019 at 2:00PM. Interment will follow from St. Pius X Roman Catholic Cemetery, Baie Verte, NL.
