ROANTREE, John Albert “Jack”
Peacefully at the Carpenter Hospice, Burlington on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Shirley (nee McConkey). Dear father of Scott, Kevin (Kim), and Paul (Michelle). Cherished grandpa of Michael (Tesza), Andrew (Amanda), and great-pa of Myles and Lillyanna. Survived by his siblings Norma Roantree, Donald (Joan) Roantree, and Carol (Larry) Shaw. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at CARLISLE UNITED CHURCH, 1432 Centre Rd. Carlisle, on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 from 10 a.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Enichement to follow at Carlisle Cemetery. Reception will be held in the church hall. The family gratefully declines flowers, and if desired a donation in Jack’s memory to The Carpenter Hospice or Sunnybrook Health Sciences (Odette Cancer Program) would be appreciated.
