Irene Armstrong
It is with sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of Irene Myrtle Ellen Armstrong (nee Cave) while surrounded by loved ones in the care of Matthews House, Alliston.
Irene is remembered by her children Elgin (Donna), Hugh (RoseMarie), Margaret (Murray), Ronald (Heather), her grandchildren Samantha (Kyle), Jessica (Kody), Abigail, Mikayla, Olivia and her great grandson Logan. Survived by her brother Gordon Cave (Carolyn) and her sister in law Lois Cave. Predeceased by her brother Donald Cave, sister Shirley Shimmel (Art) and her sister in law Sheilda Cave.
Visitation will be held at the Drury Funeral Centre 519 Victoria St. E., Alliston on Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel Friday, August 30, 2019 at 11 a.m. Interment Alliston Union Cemetery. Irene passes on to meet her husband, John Lloyd Armstrong and life partner, Harold Cotton.
