Gladys “Dolly” Turnbull
1923-2019
Following a lengthy illness, Gladys “Dolly” Turnbull of
Aroostook, NB, passed away peacefully at the Victoria Glen Manor on
August 16, 2019.
Dolly was born in Dover Hill, NB, on February 13, 1923. She was the
daughter of the late Clayton and Wilma (Scott) Kilcollins. Dolly
leaves behind her son, Dana Pirie of Aroostook, NB; five grandchildren
and six great grandchildren; her sister, Gaynell Ogilvy (Glen) of
Tilley, NB; along with many nieces and nephews.
Dolly was predeceased by her parents; her first husband, Reid Pirie;
by her second husband, Melvin Turnbull; her daughter, Greta Morrell;
her infant son, Dana Pirie; her sisters, Lena Nicholson, Freda Pirie,
and Katrina Watson; her brothers, Ervine, Austin, Cyril, and Winston
Kilcollins.
Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home with visitation on Monday from 12-2
pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 19, 2019 at 2 pm
from the funeral home. Rev. Dwayne Broad officiating. Interment will
follow in the South Tilley Cemetery.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Victoria Glen Manor or
the Southern Victoria Cancer Assistance Fund would be appreciated by
the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover, NB.
