Geraldine Margaret Scott
Geraldine M. Scott of Dumfries, NB passed away on August 27, 2019 at
the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born on December 15, 1928 at
Dumfries, NB, she was a daughter of the late Waldon and Helen
(Ingraham) Scott.
Geraldine was a longstanding member of the United Church of Canada and
the UCW. She hosted the Christmas Candlelight Service at her home for
many years.
She is survived by her sister, Elsie Haines, Dumfries, NB; several
nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers,
Melvin Scott (late Beatrice), Merlyn Scott (late Eva), infant brother
Arnold and her brother-in-law, Murray Haines.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis
Drive, Nackawic, NB on Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 1 to 2 pm,
followed by the funeral service at 2 pm with Rev. Greg Williams
officiating. A reception will follow at the funeral home. Interment
at Barony Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank Geraldine’s homemakers and special
friend Adeline Pike for the excellent care they provided.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Geraldine, the
family has suggested the Barony Cemetery.
