Dorothy Wiggins

Dorothy’s Obituary
Dorothy passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at the Pasqua Hospital, Regina, SK, at the age of 86. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Hugh in 2013. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Dorothy was born near Abbey, SK on March 2, 1933 but spent her entire life in Tugaske, SK. Dorothy and Hugh were very involved in the community and St. Andrew’s United Church in Tugaske. They owned and operated the Wiggins Store in Tugaske which had been a cornerstone family business since 1920. In their later years, they moved to Regina to be closer to the amenities and medical facilities available in a larger center. After Hugh’s passing in 2013, and with failing vision, Dorothy moved to the Revera Renaissance Retirement Residence in Regina. There will be a Graveside Service on Friday, August 16, 2019 at the Tugaske Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. followed by a time of fellowship and refreshments at the Tugaske Community Hall. Memorial donations to the Tugaske Cemetery would be appreciated by the family. In living memory of Dorothy, a memorial tree planting will be made by Jones-Parkview Funeral Services.
