Donald Ross “Duck” Lynch
1957-2019
Donald Ross “Duck”
Lynch – 61, Truro,
passed away peacefully, with his loving wife at his side, on Wednesday
morning, August 28, 2019, at Colchester East Hants Health Centre,
Truro. Born in Truro, he was a son of the late George and Janetta
“Jenny” (MacMillan) Lynch.
Duck was a member of Turning Point United Pentecostal Church.
He was a “jack-of-all-trades” and worked as a
mechanic with Canadian Tire, plumber with JC Mechanical and at the
time of his illness was employed with Super 8 Hotel doing general
maintenance. He dearly loved his children and grandchildren, enjoyed
hunting and had a soft spot in his heart for animals, especially his
cat, Missy and adopted dog, Maggie.
Duck is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sharon Rose
(Polsom); children, Robin (Chad) Sinton, Truro; Rachael (Chris)
Conrod, Truro; Katherine (Chris) Kenyon, Lloydminster, Alberta;
grandchildren, Ruby, Kyle, Kacey, Edwin, Jacob, Ava, Rylan; sister,
Leslie (Todd) Searle, Valley; brother, Fred (Sylvia) Lynch, Edmonton,
Alberta; several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was
predeceased by his daughter, Jennifer Lake; sister, Mary Lynch;
brother, Ian Lynch.
Private family interment will be held in Crossroads Cemetery,
110 Salmon River Road, Valley. If so desired, donations in
Duck’s memory to Colchester SPCA are
welcomed.

Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Private messages of
