Passed away on Saturday, 10 th August 2019 in Hamilton Ontario in her 78th year. Born in Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario on October 28 th , 1941. Mother of Ann Marie De Paulo, Jim (Ashley) Cleaver, Paul (Karen) Cleaver. Grandmother of Adam Michael, Stephen Matthew, Melissa Megan, Nicolas Marshall, Amy Elizabeth, Ryan James, Kendra Elizabeth and Olivia Victoria Madeline. Sister of Rita Benoit and Gloria D’Hondt. Sister-in-law of Pat D’Hondt and Kathi D’Hondt. Spouse of Harvey H. Cleaver. Survived by many nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews and cousins and many dear friends. Predeceased by her parents Aime (1970) and Madeleine (DeCoutere) (2009) D’Hondt of Waterford, ON and brothers’ Roger (2011) and Dennis (2017). Dolores was a Graduate Nurse from St. Joseph’s School of Nursing of Hamilton, Class of 1964. The greatest joys in her life were her children and her grandchildren. Visitation at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home (796 Upper Gage Ave. Hamilton) on Wednesday August 14th, 2019 from 9 to 11 am. Funeral Mass will be at Sacred Heart Church (19 Viewpoint Ave. Hamilton) on August 14th, 2019 at 11:30 am. Burial to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Hamilton. Charitable donations to St. Joseph’s Health Care Healing Garden or Sacred Heart Church Building Fund or the charity of your choice. Online condolences can be made on Dermodys.com
