Carter D.’s Obituary
Carter Dillion Dechant was born to parents David Dechant and Rhonda Matheson on April 27, 1995 in Manning.
He passed away in Manning on Sunday, August 27, 2019 at the age of 24 years.
Carter loved going on adventures, he loved the outdoors and traveling. A few years ago, he had the opportunity to travel to Thailand; it was one of his favorite experiences. He was also a talented and artistic young man. He would express himself through his many paintings and poetry. His dogs Chevy and Paris meant the world to him. They were always by his side.
Carter was predeceased by his grandpa, Alvis; auntie, Roseanne and step dad, Allen.
He will be lovingly remembered by his dad, Dave (Debbie); mom, Rhonda (Al); siblings, Colby, Shelby, Lexi; Ron (Deedee); grandma, Saundra; and as well as numerous family and friends.
A Celebration of Life for Carter will be held from the St. James Roman Catholic Church in Manning on Saturday, August 31, at 1:00 PM.
If friends so desire, donations may be made to the SPCA and/or Canadian Mental Health Association of Alberta as expressions of sympathy.
