Obituary
We regret to announce the passing of Carol Ann Peddle on August 4, 2019 at the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
She leaves behind her partner Dave Mills of St. Albert; brothers, Bob Peddle (Lorraine) of Syndey, NS, and Alan Peddle (Judy Landry) of Ben Eoin, NS; brother-in-law, Duncan Campbell of Sydney, NS; and sister-in-law, Barbara Peddle of Bathurst, NB. She is also survived by her St. Albert family, David Gillis, Heather, Donald and Connor Fairweather, Brenda and Randy Kozak, Dawn Thurber, Linda Peddle.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Margaret Campbell, Ruth Carmichael, Foster Peddle, Fraser Peddle, Joan Shaw, and Eva Gillis; and her parents, Roy and Frances.
Carol grew up in Sydney (Whitney Pier), attended Whitney School. She taught at the school for many years before careers that led her to New Brunswick, Ontario, and finally Alberta for over 30 years. She retired several years ago from Acco Office Supplies.
A special thank-you to the staff of Youville Home, Unit 5, who were so kind to Carol during her stay there.
A Celebration of Carol’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, September 14, 2019, at St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert, AB.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Carol’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Alberta, 306, 10430-61 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB, T6H 2J3, or Namao United Church, 24400 Highway 37, Namao, AB, T0A 2N0.
